We work with University researchers on identifying, protecting and marketing technologies through licensing, spin-out company formation, consulting and material sales. Isis works on projects from all areas of the University’s research activities: life sciences, physical sciences, social sciences and humanities, facilitating access to Oxford’s expertise through consultancy and providing researchers with advice on commercialisation.

Isis Innovation connects world class research from the University of Oxford with business and industry worldwide, providing access to Oxford intellectual property, including patents, copyright and software. We commercialise and develop technology to meet industry needs. Oxford University Consulting provides academic expertise to help in addressing discrete problems, providing independent assessments and formulating strategy, thereby offering a source of world-class expertise to enhance an organisation's innovative capability. Isis enterprise is a division of Isis, offering consulting expertise and advice in technology transfer and open innovation to clients from the research, government and private sectors, in the UK and internationally.
