Department of Education

Oxford has been making a major contribution to the field of education for over 100 years and today the Department has a world class reputation for research. Departmental consultancy services are available through OUC covering the wide range of expertise available in the Department. These include the major research fields below:

Oxford Internet Institute (OII)

The institute has been set up as an academic centre for the study of the societal implications of the Internet. It can offer a variety of services that focus on projects covering:

• social, economic, political, legal, industrial, technical and ethical issues of the Internet in everyday life;
• governance and democracy;
• science and learning;
• and shaping the Internet.
