About Isis Enterprise

Isis Enterprise, established in 2004, is a division of Isis Innovation Ltd. We offer consulting advice in technology transfer and innovation management to clients from the public and private sectors, in the UK and internationally.

Our role is to facilitate the flow of new, disruptive technologies from technology providers such as universities, institutes and early stage companies to technology seekers such as mature companies looking to create ground-breaking products and new business divisions.

In addition to hands-on involvement in commercialisation projects, where we represent both providers and seekers, we also provide advice to governments, science parks, investors and research funding bodies.

An important aspect of our offering is practical case-based training in all aspects of technology transfer and innovation management. Technology transfer includes the migration of technologies from the research base into industry; innovation management includes the management of new ideas within a corporate product development environment.

To date Isis Enterprise has delivered consultancy assignments for clients in more than 50 countries and established a presence in China, Japan and Malaysia to serve the Asian market.

Isis Innovation Ltd is the technology transfer company of the University of Oxford; established in 1988. Working with Oxford University researchers, Isis now files more than one patent application a week on average, has assisted in the formation of more than 70 spin-out companies and has negotiated over 800 commercial agreements including more than 500 technology licenses/options.
