Universities and Research Institutes
Long-term technology transfer partnerships have been established with a range of organisations. Our staff act as either coaches/mentors to our clients own technology transfer staff, or we can provide staff to supplement the clients human resources with complementary expertise.
Other services include:
- review of technology transfer policies;
- technology audits;
- bespoke training programmes; and,
- hosting programmes (where technology transfer staff from client technology transfer offices work alongside our experienced staff in Oxford).
Companies
Our services include:
- reviews of clients innovation strategies and technology roadmaps;
- technology search assignments;
- technology audits;
- market validation reports; and,
- hands on in- and out-licensing of technology based products and services.
Governments and Government Agencies
We undertake policy studies and benchmarking studies and have experience of working across the UK, in mainland Europe and Asia.
Professional Services Firms
We assist professional services firms by providing an independent view of the market for new technology based products and services.
Investors
We carry out investment readiness appraisals and support the development of business plans and investment presentations. We have carried out interim management assignments on investee businesses. With our expertise in proof of concept style investments we are keen to participate on fund advisory boards.
Research Funding Organisations
Isis works with the research funding bodies to facilitate the transfer of research results into commerce. Our activities include training in IP matters, reviews of IP commercialisation policy and hands-on support for technology commercialisation.
