OxLoc Board changes to support rapid commercial growth

OXFORD, Oxfordshire. – August 2005. OxLoc today announced changes to its Board of Directors so as to support the Company’s rapid commercial progress of its novel, battery-powered asset tracking technology. As of 1 st August 2005, Daniel Burnett, currently a non-executive director will become Non Executive Chairman of OxLoc. At the same time the company is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Trevor Nicholls as a Non Executive Director.

Daniel will take over as interim Chairman from Rupert Dent who has stepped down to pursue his other growing business ventures and has been Chairman of the company since the formation of OxLoc as a spin out from Oxford University in 2001. Daniel has been a non-executive director of OxLoc since March 2004.

Trevor has over 20 year’s experience of building international businesses and has recently returned from the USA where he was Chief Commercial Officer for Affymetrix Inc. Prior to this from 1997 to 2002 he was CEO of Oxagen Ltd, another spin out from Oxford University. His experience and knowledge of early stage companies and their successful growth will be of major importance to the strategic direction and success of OxLoc.
