Nuffield Health Continues to use Oxford Orthopaedic Scores in its Assessment of Healthcare Delivery

Isis Outcomes is pleased to report that Nuffield Health has renewed their licence to use the Oxford Hip (OHS) and Knee Scores (OKS) in the Groups healthcare delivery assessment program. Piloted for the first time last year, Nuffield Health has now adopted the OHS and OKS to:

  • Capture patient feedback to ensure that hospitals are truly focused on patient care,
  • Act as an early warning governance tool to assist clinical team follow-up,
  • Add data to clinical performance, for the purposes of healthcare delivery appraisal.

The Oxford Scores have now become fully integrated into the healthcare delivery process at Nuffield Health. Dr Andrew Jones, Group Medical Director previously said “Oxford Hip and Knees Scores will be at the forefront of orthopaedic care in Nuffield Health and the resulting information will ensure that Nuffield Health develops healthcare that achieves the best possible results for the patients.”

Dr David Churchman of Isis Outcomes said “We are of course pleased to welcome back Nuffield Health as a user of the Oxford Hip and Knees Scores and to see that the pilot program has developed into a longer-term healthcare assessment tool for Nuffield Health.”
