ProS Used in Assessments of Women's Healthcare

The EHP is the only condition-specific PRO designed from the patient’s perspective to assess health related quality of life in endometriosis.

The Team

The EHP is the work of Dr. Georgina Jones (now Senior lecturer at Sheffield University), Professor Crispin Jenkinson (Director of the Health Services Research Unit at Oxford and author of the widely adopted PDQ) and Stephen Kennedy (Head of Department and Clinical Reader in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the Nuffield Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Oxford). Stephen Kennedy (MA (Oxon), MD, MRCOG) brought the condition-specific expertise to the team as he enjoys an international reputation in the study and treatment of Endometriosis. Professor Jenkinson supplied the PRO development expertise whilst directing Dr Jones’ DPhil.

The PRO

Endometriosis Health Profile

The EHP is a Health Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) patient self-completion PRO, used to measure the wide range of effects that Endometriosis can have on women’s lives. The EHP is available in various formats to suit users study requirements, the long-form core instrument, the EHP-30, the short-form core EHP-5 and a selection of 6 modules (each individually assessing specific areas of HRQoL in endometriosis) that can be used alongside the core instrument. This flexibility of the EHP format allows trial designers to more accurately deploy the EHP to assess specific endpoint models.
