Celoxica is at the forefront of accelerated computing solutions.

Its IP lies in the unique Accelerator Card by Cleoxica and develooment of function-specific, optimised firmware which plugs into an industry standard server. The solutions combine accelerated hardware, firmware, Appplicaton Programming Interfaces (APls) and professional services.

Since its formation as a technology spin-out from Oxford University in 1998, a wide range of industries including oil, gas and the life sciences have off-loaded their processor-intensive and performance-hungry tasks to Celoxica.

Today the focus is on addressing some of the most challenging problems facing the finance sector, such as the exponential development of electronic trading and growth of complex derivatives trading, where Cleoxica can delivery advantage measured in milliseconds.

The need for speed is vital, but so too is the need for efficiency and a green IT approach in the data centre. Celoxica's high speed and low-latency help to redress the balance of data volumes outstripping advances in CPU processing speeds; while very low power/cooling requirements contribute to the goal of reducing IT's carbon footprint.

Headquartered in Abingdon, Oxfordshire and New York, Celoxican is a public company quoted on AIM at the London Stock Exchange. (AIM.CXA)
