MindWeavers Ltd
Following several years’ research in Oxford University, MindWeavers was spun out in 2000 to create and sell software-based products that apply world-leading neuronal-level science to harness the dynamism of the human brain.
The science is led by two of the world’s foremost neuroscientists: David Moore, Director of the Medical Research Council Institute of Hearing Research and world-renowed expert on "the Auditory Brain", and Baroness Professor Susan Greenfield, Director of the Royal Institution, The Institute for the Future of the Mind, high profile media personality, writer and broadcaster, award winning science communicator and world expert in neurodevelopment and degeneration.
Currently key areas of focus are maintaining brain health with age, and language learning and hearing. For Brain Health, MindFit exercises important cognitive skills which protects against the effect of ageing. For language learning and hearing, Phonomena is designed to improve the ability to hear the sounds of language.
